Investment Committee
At MainStreet Advisors, every portfolio manager is involved in the strategy, analysis and decision making of managing client portfolios. Our Investment Committee is structured using a team-oriented approach, as we value the expertise, insight and contributions of each member of our Investment Committee.
The MainStreet Advisors Investment Committee meets weekly to discuss all aspects of the investment management process. The committee is made up of members of the investment management team and includes portfolio managers, portfolio analysts and investment analysts. Our firm’s compliance officer attends each meeting to ensure adherence to compliance guidelines. A meeting quorum is defined as five or more committee members in attendance.
The Investment Committee oversees the following subcommittees:
- Asset Allocation
- Equity Subcommittee
- Fixed Income Subcommittee
- Fund Subcommittee
Each subcommittee has a designated subcommittee Head and at least two Portfolio Managers, along with several Portfolio Analysts and Investment Analysts. The role of the subcommittees is to develop recommendations pertaining to a designated asset class. Each subcommittee has a Chairperson who is also a member of the Investment Committee. Recommendations from the subcommittees are brought before the Investment Committee for review and final approval.
